Ed is an Co-Owner/Managing Partner at Wormald. As General Manager of Wormald Commercial, LLC, Wormald Commercial Construction, LLC and The Wormald Companies, LLC, Ed is responsible for the commercial and Virginia homebuilding design and construction within the Wormald group of companies. Also, Ed is responsible for corporate operations, financial management, legal matters, engineering, and development project approvals work of the company. Ed has 36 years of design and construction experience and is a registered professional engineer in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. He has an extensive background in the design and construction of large multi-million-dollar residential, commercial, municipal and multi-family projects with his largest project being a $70 million wastewater treatment plant project prior to joining the Wormald group. With Wormald, he has been responsible for all condominium, office, tenant improvement, recreational, clubhouse and other related construction activities. He lives with his wife and six children on a 3-acre farmette in Loudoun County, Virginia.
As Division Manager at The Wormald Companies, David is responsible for the commercial division and select residential projects. His portfolio of projects is quite impressive including everything from the $27 million Disney Treehouse Villas project in Orlando, Florida to a 60,000 square foot, 3-story office building in Columbia, Maryland. He recently completed the Westview 27C Class A office building in Frederick, Maryland. David has had full-range responsibility for $12.1 million Cascades View condominium residences in Sterling, Virginia, an 89-unit townhome project named River Place, a $22 million mixed-use Worman’s Mill Village Center, a 4-unit townhouse project named Moore’s Row, single family homes in Crown, Quarry Springs townhouses in Bethesda, and a $26 million assisted living facility in Frederick.
With over a 15 years of project management in new construction, Bill has successfully constructed residential and commercial projects. A truly dedicated professional, Bill has built over 600 projects throughout Maryland and Virginia. He prides himself on completing projects ahead of schedule. He knows it’s truly all about the customer and emphasizes communication throughout the process. He has completed his OSHA 30 training and has earned his certification from the Maryland Department of the Environment in Erosion and Sediment Control. Bill has been a Construction Manager at Wormald for six years. He has constructed Cascades View condominiums in Sterling, Virginia; Brentwood Springs single family homes in Purcellville, Virginia; Worman’s Mill Village Center apartments; Crown single family homes; and is now constructing an 89-unit assisted living facility.
As superintendent with Wormald, Chuck has over 35-years of experience building residential and commercial properties. His more recent experience includes the office building at 5205 Corporate Drive, Frederick, and a 3-story mixed-use building comprised of 34 apartments and 19,000 square feet of retail space. Chuck has been a fireman for 42 years with Frederick County, Maryland. Chuck joined the fire service at the age of 18. He was the fire chief for 15 years and is now serving as president of the Independent Hose Company of Frederick, Maryland.
Ken is an Co-Owner/Managing Partner at Wormald. Ken’s focus is on the front end of the business which includes business development, architecture, marketing, and sales team management. Ken also spearheads the firm’s senior living and general brokerage work. He is a graduate of the Advanced Management Development Program in Real Estate at Harvard University, and holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond, and a Master of Christian Studies from Regent College. Ken resides with his wife and three children in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
