Ed is Co-Owner and Managing Partner at Wormald and serves as General Manager of Wormald Commercial, LLC, Wormald Commercial Construction, LLC, and The Wormald Companies, LLC. As the owner-in-charge of Wormald Commercial, he oversees corporate operations, financial management, legal affairs, engineering, and development project approvals. With 36 years of design and construction experience, Ed is a registered professional engineer in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. His extensive background includes the design and construction of large-scale residential, commercial, municipal, and multifamily projects, including a $70 million wastewater treatment plant completed prior to joining Wormald. At Wormald, he has led the construction of condominiums, offices, tenant improvements, recreational facilities, clubhouses, and related developments. Ed and his wife live in Loudoun County, Virginia, where they raise six children on a three-acre property.
As Vice President at Wormald, David leads the commercial division and oversees a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects. His experience ranges from the $27 million Disney Treehouse Villas in Orlando, Florida, to a 60,000-square-foot, three-story office building in Columbia, Maryland. He has managed the completion of the Westview 27C Class A office building in Frederick, Maryland, as well as the $12.1 million Cascades View condominium residences in Sterling, Virginia. David’s work also includes the 89-unit River Place townhome community, the $22 million mixed-use Worman’s Mill Village Center, the Moore’s Row four-unit townhouse project, single-family homes in Crown, the Quarry Springs townhouses in Bethesda, and a $26 million assisted living facility in Frederick.
With more than two decades of experience in commercial construction, Matt offers proven expertise in preconstruction, client relations, and strategic growth. His portfolio includes notable projects for Frederick Health, M&T Bank, Partner Veterinary, and others. Matt’s strong industry relationships and deep knowledge of the local market support Wormald’s continued expansion and its commitment to delivering high-quality commercial spaces.
Justin brings a practical, field-driven approach to managing a diverse range of commercial construction projects. With a strong background in field operations and site supervision, he is known for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. Justin excels at coordinating subcontractors, managing timelines, and resolving challenges with a calm, solutions-focused mindset. His attention to detail and strong communication skills make him a trusted leader on every job site and a key contributor to Wormald Commercial’s continued success.
Ken is Co-Owner and Managing Partner at Wormald, focusing on business development, architecture, marketing, and sales team leadership. He also leads the firm’s senior living and general brokerage efforts. Ken holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond, and a Master of Christian Studies from Regent College. He is also a graduate of the Advanced Management Development Program in Real Estate at Harvard University. Ken resides with his wife and three children in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
